Megan Fox: "I have no confidence"

Poor Megan Fox. We can't imagine what it's like to have a killer bod and near-perfect facial features. Yet, she just wants to be taken seriously for her acting and not just her hot looks. Sure, we get it. The "Transformers" actress talks to W magazine, which hits stands on Feb. 23, about wanting to be more than just a bombshell, feeling maternal and (gasp!) lacking confidence.

Right. Because it's not like every attractive woman everywhere hasn't had a moment of low self-esteem due to the perpetual media machine that works to grind away at the confidence of women from the time they're old enough to comprehend language, and deems them attractive based on ever-shifting, arbitrary criteria.
Also, wtf wouldn't you want to be considered as more than just a pretty face and a nice body?

About 20 years ago I saw an interview with Paula Abdul where she talked about how klutzy she was (giving an example of dropping the microphone and falling all over it trying not to break it as she picked it up). I was a klutz (as well as having insanely low self esteem) so I did feel better knowing that someone famous and talented like her wasn't 100% perfect.
That said, Megan Fox isn't really giving a good proof of her low self-esteem. Saying, "Oh, y'know, whenever I put on underwear I look like a pinup model so they had to tone that down for the movie", doesn't give me something I can identify with. Fuck, if anything, it makes me feel worse.
I like the internet because people can only judge me for my words/brain, rather than what I look like.
